Download complete text of the Using Microfin 4 Handbook

You can download the entire text of the Business Planning Handbook in a format that is readable by Adobe Acrobat (called a PDF file).  NOTE:  These are LARGE files (8M) and may be slow to download on some internet connections.

Download Microfin 3 Help file, version 1.0 (French) 

This file contains the on-line help system for Microfin 3, with the complete text of the CGAP "Using Microfin 3" Handbook translated into French.

Click here to download "Microfin French Help Install.exe (2.5M).

Double-click on this file to run the installation procedure.  It will install the help file into the microfin "support" folder where you initially installed Microfin 3.  When you click on the Help buttons in Microfin, it will then open and display the french help.

Download Microfin 3 Help file, version 1.0 (Spanish) 

This file contains the on-line help system for Microfin 3, with the complete text of the CGAP "Using Microfin 3" Handbook translated into Spanish.

Download Portuguese translation for Microfin 3.5 (version 1.2)

This file contains the Portuguese translation for use in Microfin 3.5 (Note: this translation will NOT work in earlier versions of Microfin!).  Microfin 3.5 includes a feature to automatically import user defined languages.  Simply follow the instructions below.

To install this translation:

1. Open Microfin 3.5 (the process does not work in earlier versions; the file may contain data, nothing will be lost in this process)
2. Using the Microfin toolbar, click on Options -> Languages -> Import a User-Defined Language.
3. When prompted, select the file called "Microfin 3.5, Portuguese Language Module, version 1.1.xls" (NOTE! You will have downloaded a ZIPPED file.   You will need to UNZIP the file before you can use it during this import process.)
4. You should see a message indicating successful importation.
5. Contact support@microfin.com if you have any problems with this process.
6. If you have any feedback on the translation, let us know!

Download Chinese translation for Microfin 4.0 (version 1.0)

This file contains the Chinese translation for use in Microfin 4.0 (Note: this translation will NOT work in earlier versions of Microfin!).  Microfin 4.02 includes a feature to automatically import user defined languages (not active in 4.0 and 4.01).  Simply follow the instructions below.

Download Bahasa Indonesian translation for Microfin 3.5 (version 1.0)

This file contains the Bahasa translation for use in Microfin 3.5 (Note: this translation will NOT work in earlier versions of Microfin, nor does it work in Microfin 4.)  Microfin 3.5 includes a feature to automatically import user defined languages.  Simply follow the instructions below.

The translation was done by Microfinance, IFC-PENSA - Program for Eastern Indonesian SME Assistance, International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group, Surabaya, Indonesia, and was provided compliments of their institution. Please note that this translation HAS NOT BEEN REVIEWED and is not endorsed by CGAP. It is provided in an effort to assist others. If your institution improves the translation, we would appreciate receiving a copy of the file in order to update the translation we can make available to others.

Download Russian translation for Microfin 3 (version 1.1)

This file contains the updated Russian translation for use in Microfin 3.  Microfin 3 includes a new feature to automatically import user defined languages.  Simply follow the instructions below.

To install this translation:

1. Open Microfin 3.13 (the process does not work in earlier versions; the file may contain data, nothing will be lost in this process)
2. Using the Microfin toolbar, click on Options -> Languages -> Import a User-Defined Language.
3. When prompted, select the file called "Mfin 3, Russian Translation Module, version 1.1.xls" (NOTE! You will have downloaded a ZIPPED file.   You will need to UNZIP the file before you can use it during this import process.)
4. You may be asked if you want to keep existing rangenames.  Answer YES each time!
5. At the end you may be asked if you want to keep the data in the clipboard.  You can answer NO.
6. You should see a message indicating successful importation.
7. You can now use Options -> Language -> User-Defined Language to switch over to the new language.
8. Contact support@microfin.com if you have any problems with this process.  (Remove the capital letters when emailing.  They are there to avoid spammers.)
9. If you have any feedback on the translation, let us know!
10. Note that there are some cells that were not able to be translated in this version because of technical issues.  This will be resolved in Microfin 3.5.
