If you encounter difficulties downloading the large files required for either
the Microfin model or the Business Planning Handbook, there are several options
available:
- You should try downloading the smallest files possible. For the
Microfin model, you should try the "floppy based installation"
option, downloading the files as 4 smaller
files into the same folder on your hard drive. You
can then run the installation by activating the EXE file.
- You may have more success if you go to a business that has a more reliable
internet connection, such as a local Internet cafe. You will need to
download the files and then copying the files onto a USB
memory stick
for transportation to your own computer.
- Emails often are more successful than internet
downloads. Email us and tell us what version you need (Microfin 3.5 or
Microfin 4.0). We'll then email the file to you -- it will be about 6M
in size, so your email system will need to allow attachments of this size.
